2014 has started with new partnerships and an expansion of what Marin Economic Forum is doing to increase the visibility and networking for businesses in Marin County.
The Marin Economic Forum is proud to join forces with the Marin Business Forum (MBF). The Marin Business Forum (MBF) is a community where like-minded business owners can share valuable information to improve business practices and productivity by leveraging the power of collaboration. This organization is focused on southern Marin, but open to all of Marin County.
MBF was created by local business owners and professionals, who realized the need for a community platform to collaborate, share information and ideas to help each other efficiently grow their businesses. This partnership provides Marin Economic Forum with a way to grow small business networking to help foster business relationships, job growth, and spread the word about issues and activities that affect Marin County businesses, large and small.
MBF has quarterly meetings and speakers are the featured part of those gatherings. On January 9, 2014, Marin Business Forum welcomed Dean Karnazes to speak. He is an ultra-marathoner and an entrepreneur, and told an inspirational set of stories. On April 3, Robert Eyler will provide an overview of the global, national, state, and local economy with an emphasis on issues in Marin County for 2014 and beyond.
